<White Day,> which was featured in the showcase, is a vertical interactive drama with a different ending depending on the viewer's choice, as promoted by TikTok's Vertical Cinema account @verticalshortfilm.

TikTok and K-Arts have screened 12 shortforms between one and three minutes in the 2021 showcase, including <For Symmetric People,> directed by KKYU Films, which has more than 1.9 million views.

The showcase is the result of an industry-academia collaboration project to foster and support TikTok Shortform creators between K-Arts and TikTok as part of TikTok's global social contribution project, ‘TikTok for Good’, which ran for a year from March 2020 to February 2021 through a video studio class, and will be held seasonally.

Meanwhile, K-Arts AT Lab is a creation and production laboratory that aims to converge science and technology, cultural arts, industry, and education, and conducts creation and research in the fields of realistic media, advanced medical care, and artificial intelligence content in collaboration with leading domestic and foreign companies, universities, and research institutes. In addition to <Scarecrow H>, works utilizing volumetric technology have been awarded the Special Jury Prize at the Paris 360 Film Festival, third place at the Barcelona 360 Festival in Spain, and have been invited to more than 10 overseas film festivals, including the Cannes Film Festival in France and the Tribeca Film Festival in New York, leading the way for high-tech content.
